Bound volume of accounts relating to rents received and disbursements made on the Duras estate 1867-79 and on the Belvoir estate 1882-6 by John Brady. John Brady ceased to be the agent for the Duras estate in 1879. For the receipt of rents there are columns under the following headings, date, number and name of tenant, gale, income tax and poor rate allowances and rent. The expenses against the estate included such items as county cess, salaries, labour, Land Commission rent charge, lodgements made to Capt John Wilson Lynch's Galway bank account. Expenses include the payment of a quarterly salary of £2.10 to Mrs Bridget Jordan, 'the nurse', in the late 1860s and the payment of £20.5 to Joe Kenny and his family in June 1877 for their 'passage to Quebec' Canada.
