Clare, manuscript notes by Lelia Doolan on Mullaghmore/Burren Centre, and also letters from Doolan and others to local and national media re. the campaign.

Correspondence between Brendan Dunford and Tim Robinson beginning with a letter from Dunford inviting Robinson to the upcoming launch of burrenbeo, a new information and education initiative. Ensuing correspondence discusses the relationship between the farming community and the environmentalist cause, specifically access, burning of gorse, grazing levels, and public liability concerns that have forced some farmers to put 'no trespassing' signs on their land. File of invitations to exhibitions and events connected with the Burren. Includes publication details of E Charles Nelson's book about the Burren, (Mar 1991), an exhibition of photographs entitled 'Clare's Outback' by Thomas Quinn (17 Jan 1986), an invitation to a poetry reading by Deirdre Carr (15 Jul 2000) and an invitation to the official naming of the refurbished Carron Field Station in honour of the late Professor Máirín de Valéra (3 Jul 2006).

Material relating to Tim Robinson's first map of the Burren, 'The Burren: a two-inch map of the uplands of north-west Clare'. The map was published in 1977. The archive includes annotated reference maps, field notes, correspondence relating to placenames and archaeological sites. See P120/3/2/4/5 for a conference paper given by Robinson in 1999 in which he describes his Burren mapping methodology

Material contributing to the production of a revised edition of the Burren map, published in 1999. The archive includes correspondence from local experts and scholars of the region, with edits carried out by many on the 1977 map.
