Scope and content

Correspondence between Brendan Dunford and Tim Robinson beginning with a letter from Dunford inviting Robinson to the upcoming launch of burrenbeo, a new information and education initiative. Ensuing correspondence discusses the relationship between the farming community and the environmentalist cause, specifically access, burning of gorse, grazing levels, and public liability concerns that have forced some farmers to put 'no trespassing' signs on their land. (9 May - 9 Jul 2003) 9pp;

The rest of the folder contains Robinson's membership card for Burren Beo Trust, promotional postcards, an interactive CD-ROM entitled 'Images of the fertile rock', the trust's annual magazine Burren Insight, (2010-2012).
