Letter from John Brady sending him the enclosed letters and copies of his replies. He regrets that the rents are not being paid and that the tenants are looking for abatements on judicial rents. He does not recommend giving any abatement despite the "terrible depression in the price of cattle". Glesson offers to pay £16 on account, which he refused but recommends acceptance with his permission, He has received rents in the villages of Snaty and Kilmihil, where most of the tenants are Capt. Callaghan's and in good circumstances. Enclosures copy reply letter from John Brady to Dather Courtney, CC, Kilkishen (31 Oct 1885) and a Cork newspaper cutting relating to a special meeting of the Kilmihil National League [(Oct 1885)].
