He laments the absorption of 'false principles', the decline in Gaelic games such as hurling, and the narrowness of education. He then writes about the Belgian Boerenbond (a professional association of farmers active in the Flemish and German-speaking communities of Belgium associated with Catholicism) and its successes and how a similar association can work in Ireland. Includes annotations and corrections.

Draft of letter from [Liam Ó Briain] to Mr. F Duffy, replying to his letter that he had received that morning. "There are a few differences between things here & in Dublin as regards Drama in Irish that it is well to be very clear about". He outlines the beginnings of the Theatre from a conversation between Earnest Blythe and Séamus Ó Beirne. He outlines the steps taken so far in a colourful way, and then states what is required. He feels that the Comhar model would not work in Galway as they do not have the necessary base of experience. He states that the only alternative to what he is proposing in relation to the getting of a hall, is the renting of the Town Hall for shows along with all the other groups.

Draft of letter from Liam Ó Briain to [Proinnsias Mac Diarmada] he asks if he knows anything in relation to the gas repairs that will be going on the following day. He also berates him about the business with Electra, and that he had no authority to use their names. He also says that they were looking for a lot of money from the Taibhdhearc which they did not have. He says that he found the acting in "Dawn" very amateurish. He states that a list of plays to Committee members before putting them in the "Sentinel". In his draft response Mr Mac Diarmada states that he only sought to put the proposals before the Committee. He gives his opinion on the role of cinema in the country at that moment. "The films at present are greatest force in the country working against the language and practically undoing all the good work be done in the schools".

Draft of letter from Whitney and Moore, Solicitors, 46 Kildare St., Dublin, to Dermot O'Conor Donelan. They state that Mr. Shaw will be unable to see him on Saturday. They also state that although Counsel may express doubts in relation to the will and codicils, he has to assume that they shall be proved. He states that Mr Shaw believes that Elizabeth's shares are now divided between the representatives of Belinda and William. Before the shares are passed on, however, Dermot should state what moneys were paid to them or their representatives which should then be taken out of the shares [very fragile, hydrolysis].

Draft of letter from [ ], Parc Bán, Gaillimh to An tEagathóir, An Curadh Chonnachtach, Gaillimh, complaining about the lack of support which the Taibhdhearc is getting from Irish speakers. "Do this weeks' events show that a fine company are wasting their time and talents on the Gaelgeoirí of Galway?"

Manuscript memoir, written in A4 refill books, with loose-leaf pages inserted, by Genevieve Lyons, comprising her written accounts of her life and career, from her early childhood and beginnings in Dublin and through her acting career of the 1950s onwards, with personal anecdotes and writings on Dublin culture, theatre, friends, family and relationships.

Title page, with 'Itinerary' crossed out, and 'Pilgrimage I South' written in its place. A handwritten table of contents that differs from previous drafts and splits 'Stones of Aran' into 'Itinerary' which covers South, the Excursion and North, and 'Labyrinth', to cover the East, Home and West.
