Draft of letter from Liam Ó Briain to [Proinnsias Mac Diarmada] he asks if he knows anything in relation to the gas repairs that will be going on the following day. He also berates him about the business with Electra, and that he had no authority to use their names. He also says that they were looking for a lot of money from the Taibhdhearc which they did not have. He says that he found the acting in "Dawn" very amateurish. He states that a list of plays to Committee members before putting them in the "Sentinel". In his draft response Mr Mac Diarmada states that he only sought to put the proposals before the Committee. He gives his opinion on the role of cinema in the country at that moment. "The films at present are greatest force in the country working against the language and practically undoing all the good work be done in the schools".
