Large unsigned document featuring harp [national emblem of Ireland] embossed and marked [TRANSLATION], "Convention on the Accession of the Kingdom of Spain and the Portuguese Republic to the Convention on the law applicable to contractual Obligations opened for signature in Rome on 19 June 1980", for signature at Dublin Castle by Pádraig Flynn, TD, Minister for Justice for Ireland, nominated by President Mary Robinson (MR) as plenipotentiary, with space for signing by MR and Taoiseach Albert Reynolds, May 1992.

(item 4); Selection of TS letters to Druid from Con Hayes, Governor, Arbour Hill Prison (19 Feb 1987) Vincent Sammon, Educational Service to Prisons (20 Mar 1987) and [Nessa] Durcan, Education Unit, Cork Prison, ( 25 Feb 1987) all adding comment upon the recent Druid tour to the respective prisons (item 5); Group of letters and comments written by prisoners in respective prisons, primarily Arbour Hill, giving detailed accounts of their thoughts and opinions on the play and on Druid performing in a prison. (Feb - Mar 1987 - Item 6); Group of press cuttings with reviews of the play, a flyer advertising the touring production and also TS and MS letters including a telex from Emelie of Graffiti Theatre, wishing Druid well with the tour; letters from Druid to Vincent Sammon and Nessa Durkan discussing arrangements, schedules and staff lists for those who would be present at the prisons from Druid for the productions. Also a letter from Jerome Hynes to Phelim Donlon of the Arts Council, Dublin, attaching the above named report and comments on the Prisons tour. Correspondence and legal papers relating to the sale of the Mitchell family’s interest in the lands of Brackloon, Attimonmore South and Laragh in the baronies of Athenry and Kilconnell, Co Galway, to William Daly of Dunsandle. The lands of Brackloon were held under a lease from the Rev Nicholas Devereux to Patrick Mitchell, dated 18 April 1856. Maxwell, Weldon and Co, 40 North Great George’s St, Dublin were the solicitors representing the Mitchell interest. The deed of conveyance and assignment was dated 2 October 1905, see LE13/48.

Conveyance pursuant to the powers contained in Col. Anthony Ormsby's marriage settlement. It relates to 171 acres of Derrybohy, 8 acres of Lisnagross, 48 acres of Carrowdangan held by Brady and partners, 24 acres of Carrowdangan held by Kelly and partners, and 28 acres of bog. The parties are Thomas Ormsby and his eldest son Lieut. Col. Anthony Ormsby; (2) Maurice Blake of Towerhill, trustee to Anthony Ormsby's Marriage Settlement with Rebecca Elwood (3 May 1803); Owen Phibbs of Wilbrook, COunty Mayo, surviving trustee of a certain term of years in the marriage settlement (4) Lieut. Col. Frederick William Trench; (5) Michael Frederick Trench (6) Sir Henry Purcell and Hon. Charles Vesey, trustees of a conveyance dated 8 December 1815. Witness are Robert SImpson, attorney, William Maloney, Edward Harman Rainsford, Peter Ormsby. Registry of Deeds number 706.100.483636. For a map see LE40/4/115. It refers to a deed of 28 August 1755 frequently and it is very much the subject of this deed. Rev. Frederick Trench mentioned in that deed, who is the father of Michael Frederick Trench. By the 1803 Marriage Settlement the lands mentioned in 1755 were entrusted to Thomas Lindsey and Maurice Blake for the life of Thomas Ormsby. These lands and others were sold by Trench to Parnell and Vesey by deed of 4 and 5 December 1815 for 99 years. At expiration of the 1755 lease division of lands held in common to go into effect - the lands mentioned in this deed are the Trench division. Robert Hamilton & Co., solrs.
