Correspondence including handwritten note to President Mary Robinson (MR) from Kay Gleeson, Assistant Secretary to the President, noting Government had nominated Fergus Flood and Declan Budd to be High Court Judges, 10/09/1991; handwritten note from Joe Brennan to MR stating that King Baudouin of the Belgians was seriously ill and might not recover, 24/10/1991; correspondence relating to the nomination of Major General Kevin Francis Murphy as Chairman to the Central Council to the Irish Red Cross, which was delayed by the Government, and which then required an amendment to allow late nominations, before it could be approved by MR, 18/10-01/11/1991; material including letter from Peter Ryan, Secretary to the President, to Government Supplies Agency, relating to the need to have new stationery designed that were suitable for Head of State, including Christmas cards, and the need to employ a comprehensive design service, 13-14/11/1991; letter and report from Monica Barnes, TD, Chairwoman, Joint Committee on Women's Rights relating to the World Women's Congress for a Healthy Planet, Miami, 08-12/11/1991, which she attended and at which she submitted a letter from MR which was read out at the final meeting, 25/11/1991.
