Bound volume of copy letters written by Adam Ormsby in connection with the will of Owen Phibbs of Merrion Sq., Dublin and of which he was an executor, to various people including John Ormsby; the Earl of Kingston; Henry Cary; Thomas Montgomery Esq.; Peter Phibbs; Messrs. La Touche Co.; Messrs. Greenwood, Cox and Co.; Archdeacon Verschoyle; E.M. Lewis Esq.; Miss Phibbs; Rev. Sir Francis Lynch Blosse; Patrick Touhy; Ormsby Phibbs; John Ormsby of Lakelands, Castlebar was agent for Owen Phibbs. Includes a letter mentioning the death of his brother Peter on 18 August 1834 (19 Nov 1834). There are also a number of enclosures including a letter from Henry Cary and a page relating to the registering of a Marriage Settlement between Annesley Cary of Portarlington and Mary Phibbs (rod 449.36a.288706 (14 Mar 1792) and three copy documents relating to the leasing of lands from the Bishop of Killala (Rev. Cary of Killala). Adam died in April 1835.
