File of documents relating to the production of "The New Electric Ballroom" written by Enda Walsh, produced by Druid at the Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh, as part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Includes contract of agreement for the production made between Druid and the Traverse Theatre (Scotland Ltd.); This production was planned to be produced as part of a double-bill with "The Walworth Farce" in Edinburgh but which had to be postponed owing to funding issues. The file includes detailed correspondence between Druid and the agents of individual actors, concerning the decision and fall-out of the decision to not proceed with the production. File also includes proposed budgets for the production as well as plans and drawing of the stage plan at the Traverse Theatre. Sales reports (programmes, additional tickets) from 9-10 July performances. Also box-office summary from production at the Traverse Theatre. Email from Tim Smith, Company Manager, with costs and receipts for transfer to staff for set, dated April 2008, perhaps related in retrospect to this production.
