Scope and content

In 1907 following the death of Adeline Ormsby in Plymouth (see LE40/428), George Ormsby came into the possession of some old documents and a series of letters which had belonged to Adam Ormsby of the Cummin family and the father of Adeline, George Ormsby left all these Cummin papers and his own personal papers to his nephew Gerald Ormsby of Canada when he died and in this way they became linked up with the Ballinamore collection. It contains one deed, three appointments and 47 papers.
