A photocopy of the descriptive list of the Salruck Papers, compiled by Brigid Clesham, with accompanying letter to Tim from Brigid, dated 1997. The papers cover the period 1676 to 1904, and are held privately by Bowen Ormsby, see Irish Landed Estates Database for further information. P120/3/33 (6) Copies of documents relating to Dónal Ó Fotharta (who had published a book of folk tales and songs from the Ballyconneely area in 1892). Photocopies of documents relating to Ó Fotharta, including transcription from the dedication in his book, and a photocopy of a section of his marriage certificate in 1888. There are also two letters from Diarmuid Breathnach (in Irish), dated 27 April 1994 and 16 August 1994 enclosing some photocopies, and the biography of Ó Fotharta he has written for 'Bheathaisnéis a 4.' Letter from Séan Ó Morónaigh, Stuírthóir An Comhlachas Náisiúnta Drámaíochta (Irish), 4 April 2000 thanking Tim for his permission to reproduce a section of his map, focusing on Callow near Ballyconneely in an article by Seosamh Í Cuaig on 'Playboy of the Western World', a copy of which is also enclosed. P120/3/33 (4)Three letter/accounts, none signed but likely from Pamela Reid. one is addressed to Pat. She gives information about her grandparents, the Willcox's, Arthur Willcox and Marion Cozzens. (10 December 1995). Another piece talks about Lisnabrucka in 1935. These are rich reminiscences about their personal lives in the country, where as a child, her best friends were Brigid and Joe Nee. Brochures for Lough Inagh Lodge and Derryclare Fishery. A letter from Susan Prior to Mr Nee, 26 January 1998 who is enquiring about her grandfather, Sir William Arbuthnot Lane, a surgeon in London of Irish descent. Some photographs copied from 1930s ones of Glendalough and Inagh Lodge. Letter to Robinson from Phyllis K Jenkins enclosing notes on the Martins of Ross. Correspondence between Edward Bourke of Dublin and Tim Robinson, letter from Bourke dated 3 March 1988 seeking information on West coast shipwrecks and enclosing a portion of his notes, a copy of Robinson's response (undated), outlining information he has enclosed in his reply, and enquiring about the shipwreck in Inishbofin, commemorated by the placename 'Royal Oak Cove', which he has found references to in O'Donovan's Letters and in an article by M Redington in JGAHS. Letter from Bourke (undated) enclosing some photocopied information on the Royal and Lancaster regiment, but advising he has been unable to confirm that it was the Royal Oak.
