              Handwritten letter from Pádraig Audley to Robinson enclosing a photocopied grid map, on which he has outlined the boundary of Knock-Spiddal Parish to the west of the Crimlin River.               Correspondence between Professor Brian McNicholl and Robinson, beginning with a handwritten letter from McNicholl who is contacting Robinson about a town called Pontoy or Pomoy which appears on historic maps he has seen, but which he cannot identify. Copy reply from Robinson who has wondered about the same placename, but has not established its modern name. He asks if it is possible to obtain photographs of these sections of the maps. A reply from McNicholl discusses the matter further, and encloses photographs of sections taken from the following historic maps.               Correspondence between Paul Walsh of the Archaeological Branch of the Ordnance Survey and Tim Robinson. Walsh writes seeking information from Robinson on possible pre-historic burial structures on Slieve Carran, and encloses a photocopied article by the Burren Wildlife Foundation. Copy reply from Robinson who has found a reference to these structures in his diary from 1976. Two local sources believed them to be 19th century enclosures for storing cow dung. Letter from Walsh enclosing an offprint of an article he wrote with Carleton Jones a 'Recent Discoveries on Roughaun Hill, county Clare'. Begins with a handwritten draft of a letter Robinson sent to The Director of the OS about incorrect co-ordinates for Ballycasheen, Leana and Commons North recorded in 'The Survey of Megalithic Tombs Vol 1'. A reply from Ó Nualláin, and subsequent correspondence between the two parties about sites being destroyed by bulldozing of scrub. (27 May 1976-12 Jun 1977) 9pp;

              File of correspondence between Tim Robinson and Fr Ryan, Parish Priest at Sixmilebridge. Robinson is enquiring about about a number of earthworks around Lisdoonvarna that he believes to be barrows rather than forts, a subject Fr Ryan recently gave a paper on. Fr Ryan responds arranging to meet Robinson on the Aran Islands. In a subsequent letter, Fr Ryan describes the location of a cave that served as a hiding place for priests and their vestments, and encloses a map of the Burren on which he has marked locations of fulachta fiadh.
