This series contains documents relating to the Staveley Estate. This series has been divided into two subseries. The first subseries relates to Robert [Jones] Staveley. The second subseries relate to his son Thomas [Butler] Staveley. Each subseries has one sub-subseries. All material has been arranged chronologically at subseries and at sub-subseries level.

Typed copy of the last will and testament of Thomas Butler Staveley of 6 Wellington Road Wavertree Liverpool. Comes with typed cover page on headed paper stating “in his majesty’s high court of justice” dated 31 March 1911 and states Thomas [Butler] Staveley died the 10 March 1911. Copy of will originally made the 14 June 1894 whereby Thomas Butler Staveley names his wife Eliza Staveley his executrix and leaves to her lands in Clouncrippy [Clooncrippa] Co. Limerick.

Letters from various siblings of the O’Callaghan family Fallow, Kilmacthomas, Waterford discussing immigration to the States, as well as the political situation in Ireland. Patrick serves in the US Army and many of his letters refer to his life in the army. Also letters from the States back to their family in Kilmacthomas.
