Bundle of quit rent receipts regarding an outline of payments on properties. Includes bundle of damages receipts and illegible correspondences. Contains correspondence from the quit rent office from 19 February 1834 regarding lands in Co. Tipperary sold to William Saurin (Mark Saurin’s father) by the Earl of Carlingford. As such quit rent are payable by Mr Saurin for a parcel of lands called “Curragh being the alias name for [Ganamore],” for which quit rents are due. Includes mini ledger of yearly quit rent rates for land of [Gananmore, Geoghall and Kilparteeno.] Other names mentioned include: [Lord Roden], George King Massy Dawson, Hugh Lefroy Baker Clark, James Larkin.
