Material in this file includes circulars sent by Friends of Medieval Dublin in relation to George Colley's reply to the Dublin City Manager 02/11/1979; correspondence between FX Martin (FXM) and Robinsons 04-26/11/1979 including in relation to him being sued for damages; photocopies of typed replies to questions raised at meeting of the Dublin City Council (DCC), 05/11/1979 by Councillor G Birmingham, Councillor S Morre, T.D., and Alderman Sean Loftus; photocopy and translation of letter from Dr Bruns head of German Chancellor Helmut Schmidt's office, and cover letter from Anngret Simms, in relation to the possibility of the chancellor raising the question of Wood Quay while attending an European Council meeting in Dublin, 15/11/1979; set of official minutes for monthly meeting of the DCC, 19/11/1979; photocopy of letter from Assistant City Manager to Department of Education secretary, in relation to the slow progress being made by National Museum of Ireland on excavation and the cost per month of delays, 27/11/1979, along with observations on the letter by Patrick Wallace, Assistant Keeper, 11/12/1979; copy of report on progress at Wood Quay 20 August-28 November 1979 , Patrick Wallace, Assistant Keeper, 28/11/1979; photocopy of article in "An Taisce" Nov-Dec 1979 relating to the new director of the National Museum of Ireland, Breandán Ó Ríordáin, by Consuelo O'Connor.

Material also includes a pair of badges made for Mary and Nick Robinson during the occupation of the Wood Quay site, with a cover letter from FXM, 13/11/1979, and a letter from FXM gifting, on behalf of the Friends of Mediaeval Dublin, a painting of Wood Quay by Maurice Mac Gonigal to the Robinsons, which was originally presented to Martin by Mrs Aida Mac Gonigal to be used in their efforts on behalf of Wood Quay, on behalf of her husband, the artist, who was ill at the time 27/11/1979.
