Scope and content

Photographs taken by Markus Casey of the abutments and pillars of the former railway bridge over the River Corrib between Steamers' Quay and Newcastle, Galway, both from ground and aerial level, including surrounding historic buildings. The photographs were taken as part of Casey's research on the impacts the potential construction of a pedestrian bridge using the historic remnant pillars and abutments would have on these remnants. See P164/3/1/7 for Casey's report.
