Material relating to the 8th Amendment / Eighth Amendment to the Irish Constitution referendum, held in 2018, relating to "the equal right to life of the pregnant woman and the unborn". File includes pamphlets, flyers, and leaflets relating primarily to the YES campaign for the repeal of the 8th amendment. Material present from various activist groups, such as In Her Shoes, Together for Yes, Catholics for Choice, Lawyers for Choice, Students for Choice, among others. Also includes flyers and leaflets from the Love Both campaign and the No vote for change in the referendum. File also includes stickers and badges from respective groups of both for and against repeal of the 8th amendment.
File 1 includes an unrelated flyer, an election flyer for Michael D. Higgins in his election campaign for election as President of Ireland. Election was also held in 2018.
