Email from Lucy Caldwell to Garry Hynes, sent via Thomas Conway, outlining Caldwell's interest with Working with Hynes and Druid. (7 Feb 2006) Email of reply from Hynes to Caldwell, confirming Druid's commitment to produce "Leaves".

              File of correspondence between Druid Theatre and Donogh McDonagh concerning rent, receipts and related correspondence, including between Druid Theatre and Galway Corporation discussing pedestrianisation of Druid Lane and renaming of 'Courthouse Lane' in honour of Druid Theatre Company. Includes letter from Michael D. Higgins, T.D. stating that he has sought an update from Galway Corporation regarding the name change of Courthouse Lane. (17 Sep 1998) Further letters committing support on seeking information on this matter are present from Pádraic McCormack, T.D. (27 Aug 1998); Robert Molloy, T.D., Minister of State (26 Jul 1998) Copy letter attached news coverage of the announcement of the renaming of Courthouse Lane in honour of Druid, sent by Louise Donlon of Druid to Ms. M.               File includes correspondence between Druid Theatre and McDonagh Milling and Trading Company Limited (McDonagh family) being an indenture made between the two said parties (druid are named as 'The Druid Foundation Limited') and which outlines the terms of agreement for lease of the premises to Druid from the McDonagh family which comprise Druid Lane Theatre building. (23 Mar 2001) File also includes correspondence between both parties which detail discussions on the terms and conditions for use of the premises by Druid, Correspondence is primarily between Garry Hynes, Artistic Director of Druid, Ciarán Walsh, General Manager, Druid, and Kieran Murphy & Co. Solicitors, Galway, who represent the McDonagh Milling and Trading Co. Other issues discussed include terms of payment for rent by Druid, amendments to the lease. Draft and undated indenture document also included.

Solicitors outlining term of lease agreement by McDonagh Milling and Trading Company and Druid Theatre Company for the premises at Courthouse Lane. (30 Sep 1997); Fax letter from Louise Donlon, General Manager, Druid to Pat Holland of Tipperary County Museum outlining structural changes to be made to the [Druid] building; Pencil sketch for a 'Trilogy Wall' and associated plans and notes, possibly to be installed at the Druid Theatre on Courthouse (Druid) Lane (3 Mar 1997) Letter from Donlon to Tierney detailing the planned change in status by Druid from a company limited by shares to a company limited by guarantee through advice on this being "a more suitable type of legal status". Donlon also queries a point of provision in the lease that stipulates at least four separate plays or artistic productions annually be produced at the Druid Theatre and outlines reasons (12 Oct 1998) Further correspondence between Donlon, Donagh O'Donoghue and respective legal representatives regarding discussion on points of tenancy by Druid of the theatre building, Druid's company status and other points as raised regarding drafting and finalising of tenancy/ownership of the theatre building by Druid. (Sep - Oct 1998) Includes fax from Ciarán Walsh to Garry Hynes attaching a copy of the letter from Donagh O'Donoghue, 'gifting' the building to Druid and mentions a agreement made in 1999 which stipulated at least one production in the theatre annually by Druid.
