File 1 includes layout and floor plans of the museum designed by event Communications Ltd. to which Swift's scripts were added to sound guides specific display cases and areas. Also scripts for guides to the collections of Waterford Treasures for adult and for children audiences.
File 2 contains further copies and some annotations to the scripts for the museum by Swift.
File 3 includes handwritten notes by Swift for Museum Treasures Museum work, letters between Swift and the Museum discussing writing and topics for the script, as well as fees and costs owed to Swift, printed brochures from the museum, press cuttings about the museum, and education guides and packs for children based on museum items.
Files relating to script development for short plays and entertainments by Carolyn Swift commissioned by White's Hotel management, Wexford, to promote and advertise the hotel through its history and heritage.
File 1 include numerous draft scripts, with edits by Swift, with final script for entertainment performed at White's Hotel, and as noted by Swift, based on the writings of numerous Irish writers.
File 2 includes further draft and loose-leaf edited script by Swift. Also a typed proof script, date stamped 9 June 1969. It is unclear if this proof copy is by Swift. Includes some manuscript annotation.
File 3 includes research draft handwritten notes by Swift in her research and early notes for the White's Hotel entertainment, press cuttings of news stories, and ephemera including brochures about White's Hotel, Wexford; a programme for the Wexford Festival, Oct - Nov 1973; brochure from St. Vincent de Paul Annual Report for the year 1971 - 1972 'Free Night shelter for Homeless Men, Back Lane Dublin 8'; flyer about The Tyrone Guthrie Centre at Annaghmakerrig, Flyer for St. Mary's Church, Mary Street, Dublin.
File 4 includes Letters and materials relating to the history of White's Hotel, Wexford, and of research into the hotel history by the proprietors. Includes an envelope addressed to 'Miss Connolly. 3 Nth Main street, c/o White's Hotel, and containing a menu card from White's Hotel, 17 Feb 1887 - 'Dinner and Address John Carson Esq'; lists of books consulted about the history of White's and locality, items viewed for sale at Auction, copy documents of former ads about the hotel, with proprietor names as John Eyre, texts of leases about the building and site, correspondence on White's headed paper discussing research into the history, and related research letters and documents.
File 5 includes correspondence between Carolyn Swift, John Small of White's Hotel, Barry Cassin (Eblana Theatre, producer of the entertainment at White's), Southeast Tourism body, all discussing the drafting, writing, content and production of the entertainment, the costs and fees involved, casting and auditions, and general discussion around the script and production of the piece, 1972 - 1978. Also includes press cuttings of news articles and profile about Eugene McCarthy of White's Hotel, and print photographs of McCarthy.
