Black and white photographs taken by Etienne Rynne in various European cities, including Paris and Berlin and at other unidentified locations, as part of his Travelling Studentship. Rynne is pictured in many of the photographs.
Group image featuring Rynne with others in 'black-tie', with note stating event being inaugural UCD Archaeology Ball, 27 Oct 1955. Many photos have captions identifying those present. Such names include Rúaidhrí de Valera; also an image of Rynne with 'Mrs Gorey, of Lough Gur, Co. Limerick, on O'Connell Bridge, Dublin. 1957.
Family photographs include members of the extended Rynne family.
