              File of images relating to the Druid production of the Playboy of the Western World, directed by Garry Hynes. Includes black and white rehearsal images of cast in costume, and also a group posed shot of the cast, including Mick Lally, Marie Mullen, Mairead Noone, Sean McGinley, Pat Connaughton and others. Also includes modern re-prints, 6" x 4" size, of images taken at the time of the production in 1977 which feature informal shots of cast members in various locations in Galway city and nearby, includes images of pubs such as the Hibernian Bar, Ty ar Mor Restaurant, Barna Pier, poster advertisement for O'Maille's Shop and other images taken at a coastal site and on a fishing boat, possibly at Bearna.
