Recording of oral history interview with photographer Lorraine Tuck. Tuck's photographic exhibition, "Unusual Gestures" was part of the Galway International Arts Festival 2023, at the Festival Gallery, Galway. "Unusual Gestures" is a photographic exhibition that tells the story of a family living with autism spectrum disorder [ASD], and intellectual disability. In the interview Tuck discusses the themes of the exhibition; discussion of specific photographs; curating the exhibition; personal family experiences of autism spectrum disorder and intellectual disability, and in wider Irish society; and discussion of other exhibitions of photographs by Lorraine Tuck. The exhibition is curated by Photo Museum Ireland. The interview was conducted at Archives and Special Collections, University of Galway by Dr. Barry Houlihan, Archivist.
