              File containing handwritten and typed verses and lyrics from various sources.

              Handwritten poem (transcribed by Mr Fleming and given to the Robinsons c1972). The transcription includes an introduction from J O'Neill who heard the poem in the late 1890's from a 'struggling young mason in Aran', who wrote it after listening to fairy stories told by seanachaís on a winter night. The mason sadly died in his 20's. The poem is in English, 3pp;

              Handwritten letter to Robinson from Antoine Powell in Irish including words to three songs composed in Aran between 1880 and 1910. (29 Sep 1980) 2pp;

              Typed letters to Robinson from Éamon [Ó Tuathail] enclosing lines from a ballad on an Dola Ard, a copy of Amhrán Shéamuis Uí Chonchúir, and notes on the Village of Cill Rónáin based on the 1821 Census.
