Material relating to the publication of 'Setting Foot on the Shores of Connemara & Other Writings'. The project began as an expansion of the 1981 pamphlet 'Setting Foot on the Shores of Connemara', and included writings adapted from talks and essays given by Robinson in the intervening years.

Set of index cards giving a brief description of the townland of Shanakeever, [Seanadh Chiamhair]. Included are descriptions of Piper's Hollow, Patrick's Road, Davis's Lake (or Moran's Lake according to another source. Lough Breenbania is recorded on the OS map, though Robinson notes this name seems to be unfamiliar locally). Log na gCon, where the stream runs into the lake is also described. Local man T. Joyce is credited as being the source of some of the local information.
Set of index cards describing some of the local features of the townland of Shanaveag, [Seanadh Mheidhg]. Included are descriptions of Shanaveag River, Loch an Eibhinn (Lough Anivan on the OS, and better known locally as Loch an tSasanaigh. The lake is located close to The Ivy Cliff), and Marconi Station (on the western flank of Currywongaun Hill). Philip Coynes, an octogenarian, is credited as providing some of the local information.

Some of the features described include Log an Iarainn, Eas Mór, Iomaire Bán, the Standing Stone, An Tinteán, Cloontippeen Bridge, Log Mór, Meall an Brocaí, Cluain tSoipín, Shannakeela Lake, Abhainn Bhuí, Droichead an Úcaire, and Log an Iarainn. John Barlow, Jo O'Malley, and Martin Joyce are credited with providing information.
