An inscription at the back says 'Yours truly, Archie. 9/9/00.' Taken at Vaughan and Keith studio, San Francisco. It looks like a dress uniform, with 76 on the collar, and a patch that celebrates the Fiftieth anniversary Admission Day of California. The patch features an eagle and an American flag.

Also photographed are a man on a horse balancing a load on the horse's back. The photographer and date when these photographs were taken is unclear. They were in an envelope addressed to Fr Moran, Kilronan.
