States that voter fraud has taken place in an election for the office of School Trustee. The Protective Committee has been formed to prevent such from happening again. Handwritten letter to O'Shaughnessy from Emil Pohli (Attorney and Counsellor at Law, and also a member of the Protective Committee), in the case of O'Shaughnessy vs [McInnes**]. 29 Jul 1897. Encloses a statement of receipts and expenditures relating to the case. Statement is also included.
