Digital File see p135 --> archive --> OCR --> Box 15 -->Photographs --> 001. Mounted photograph portrait of a young man (possibly O'Shaughnessy's son), head and shoulders.

Family photographs of M M O'Shaughnessy and his daughters on their trip to Europe in the early 1920s. Many photographs taken in Rome, where they visited the grave of John Keats, took a trip on a gondola. Photographs are sometimes blurry and are mostly of scenery. Some photographs of the daughters, and one of O'Shaughnessy posing outside a large house.

A photograph of a man in front of a castle wall, caption on the back says "father at Kenilworth Castle, Leamington". Taken in England.

Photographs 1-62 are from this trip.

From 63-73, the photographs are in colour and more modern (ca 1960s). They feature two men and a woman (not convinced she is an O'Shaughnessy) at Japanese gardens.

From 74, the black and white photographs recommence. The first in this series features one of the O'Shaughnessy daughters sitting on a deck chair on the Riviera, wearing a fur coat. This section of photographs contain captions, and includes a minor car collision in Paris, and other pictures of the sights in Paris. A photograph taken at Newgrange, and then several more photographs of the O'Shaughnessy daughters with their father on the 1920s European trip.

From 136, the photographs are larger. Many of these are postcards. Three are mounted, studio photographs, two of men, and one of a woman. Early 20th century. None are identified. Photograph of 3 people in fancy dress. The final two photographs are older images from O'Shaughnessy's work projects. The first is on an unidentified rail track. The second is the Morena Dam, and is captioned.
