Material originally housed in folder labelled "Silk" relating to Mary Robinson (MR) being called to the Inner Bar in 1980. Includes correspondence with Gov applying for patent of Precedence for admission to Inner Bar; several letters of congratulations; menu from celebration dinner in Royal Hibernian Hotel, Dublin 29/02/1980 signed by all present including Henry, Aubrey and Adrian Bourke [MR's brothers], Ann Lane, Eddie McParland, Ruth Montgomery, Nick Bourke [possibly MR's husband, Nicholas Robinson, jokingly signing as Nick Bourke], Barbara MacKenzie and [Hope?] Mont[gomery]; newspaper cutting from 17/10/1986 referring to MR as only practising woman Senior Counsel.
Pay order from Joseph Kelly, Dublin, to pay Thomas O'Conor Donelan, Sylane, Tuam, the sum of £23.4.6.

Correspondence between Eugene Davy, solicitor, Justice Liam Hamilton, and Mary Robinson as Senior Council in relation to payment of legal costs from the Attorney General Fund in adoption cases. Includes documentation relating to the costs in the case of S.M. & M.M. v Gabriel Murphy, Angela Doyle, Mary De Rici, St Patrick's Guild and An Bord Uchtala [Adoption Board], the case of J.B. & B.B. v An Bord Uchtala and St Nicholas Adoption Society and the case of M.C. and M.C. v K.C. and E.C. (includes photocopy of letter from MC in relation to her (adopted?) daughter, with daughter’s name and address). The stark difference in the costs allowed by the Attorney General in comparison to fees solicitors and Junior Counsel would be entitled to on taxation of party/party costs was raised by MR with Patrick McEntee, Senior Counsel, who suggested a representative number of cases be collected, and who undertook to appoint a member of the Bar Council to then engage with the Attorney General.
File 1A includes manuscript copybook, with front cover note "Journal - Marie Mullen" and includes details of wages for 'Summer Season' [1975] with record of payments to cast members and front of house staff, box-office staff etc.
Later files contain payslips detailing wage details of Druid members. File 5 includes a hardback ledger detailing payment and wage details (1989-1990) of Druid members, including the start date and cessation date of work with Druid Theatre Company.
