Handwritten letter from Cyril [Brachenbury] to M M O'Shaughnessy on Iron Mountain headed paper, though the author writes from Minneapolis. He reports he has taken up a teaching position there, believing the University to have the "best mining plant of any college or engineering school in America". He had originally planned to study in Columbia in New York, but found the cost of living too expensive. He wonders if O'Shaughnessy will begin work in Alaska the following summer, and asks for further information.
