              File of documents relating to Joseph O'Mara, brother of Stephen O'Mara, Snr. Joseph was a renowned opera singer. Based in Limerick, O'Mara performed around Ireland and the U.K. Includes sepia postcard image of Joseph O'Mara, standing in front profile; an internet printout of a webpage family history of Joseph O'Mara; Press article by Frances Condell (former Mayor of Limerick) dated 30 Oct 1967, writing a piece remembering Joseph O'Mara and conversations she had about him with Michael Rynne (O'Mara's grandnephew). Invitation to Michael and Mrs Rynne to a reception held by the Limerick Choral and Operatic Society, 1967, in Limerick. Letter attached, from said society, to Michael Rynne, mentions how they will unveil a plaque to "Limerick's illustrious operatic tenor, Joseph O'Mara." Carbon copy of letters sent to Irish newspapers by Michael Rynne, though signed off as by "Memory Man" listing the English language lyrics to a song "The Little Silver Ring", previously sang by Joseph O'Mara.
