He ends by saying that William has had terrible weather for his trip to Ballinrobe. In a long postscript he asks for news of Tom [Palmer], who has written him a long letter begging for assistance and refers to other financial matters.

He asks where he stands in legal terms. He is sorry to hear that William and Harry have had a dispute and asks him to make allowance for William's 'hasty temper'.
