Local people credited with providing information include Dr. Brian Davidson, John Pat Joyce, Feichín Ó'Tuathail, and Martin O'Malley of Garroman.

File of correspondence from Lewis T Wright of Mountain Copper Company Ltd. to M M O'Shaughnessy. A handwritten letter from Wright to O'Shaughnessy asks how long it would take to run a survey to calculate the length of railway needed to connect Windy Camp with Iron Mountain. Subsequent telegrams relay travel plans, and the final letter, dated 7 July 1897 names the members of the party Wright has assigned O'Shaughnessy to help with his upcoming work. The letter is to introduce O'Shaughnessy to Fielding when he arrives.
