File of letters and fax correspondence between Druid and various individuals, primarily to Garry Hynes, Artistic Director, Druid. Period covers the months of January to March within each year 2003 - 2005. Includes letter from Jimmy Deenihan, T.D., Kerry, to Garry Hynes seeking a contribution for inclusion in a new book in honour of playwright John B. Keane (31 Mar 2003); Letter and email sent by Garry Hynes to some U.K. media critics with comments on their reviews of "My Brilliant Divorce" and stating that the production in London starring Dawn French "was not anglicised" or not written "as an American play" and goes on to explain the heritage of the playwright and commission of the play (4/10 Mar 2003), also includes MS draft of the letter to Michael [ ] written by Hynes, on "Garry Hynes" headed paper. File also includes numerous invitations from around Ireland for Hynes to attend theatre productions and also requests from researchers and theatre students for information.
