Files of colour and also black and white photographs from the Mac Eolas community arts scheme devised by Macnas.
File 1 includes photographs of President of Ireland, Mary Robinson, her husband Nick, and others pictured with members of Macnas/Mac Eolas at the launch of Mac Eolas. Also pictured are scenes from Macnas launch, of a school setting with members and children in costume and pictured with Macnas characters such as the Fir Bolg, within a classroom scene.

File 2 includes photographs taken at another Mac Eolas event, possibly during Galway Arts Festival. Images include of main speaker, Michael D. Higgins, Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht, and other members of Macnas, such as Padraic Breathnach, performance by band The Saw Doctors. Also includes photographs from Mac Eolas events with young people and children in as part of the community arts events. Includes photographs of groups of boys on city streets and outside a terraced house. Also images of set-up/make-up of those participants in the Mac Eolas events.

File 3 - Box file of photographs taken at Mac Eolas events by Macnas, including at an event marked being at the Warwick Hotel, Salthill, 1 May 1993. Other locations for events with crowd scenes and performances with local young people and children at Fisheries Field and elsewhere unidentified.
