This collection consists of material relating to the deaths of Patrick and Harry Loughnane in November 1920, two brothers who were taken from their farm at Shanaglish, Gort on 26th November by Auxiliaries. Their mutilated and burned bodies were found by a lake near the auxiliary base at Drimharsna Castle, Ardrahan, ten days later. The material consists primarily of copies of an article by Patrick Fahy, as well as news cuttings and photographs relating to the deaths.
