Letter from Jerome Hynes, Druid, to Haughey, thanks him for his recent visit to Druid and makes a direct appeal for increased funding for the Arts in Ireland and for a new theatre premises in Galway (19 Mar 1988); Letter from Haughey to Jerome Hynes, thanking both he and Garry Hynes for the occasion of meeting the cast of Factory Girls at Druid and thanks them for the presentation of a "very fine etching". (23 Mar 1998); Letter from Jerome Hynes to Maire Geoghegan Quinn, thanking her for assistance in organising the visit of Haughey and adds "National publicity was not possible due to Saturday's tragedy in the North".
