Address given by Father Hayes on Muintir na Tíre in a location in the Archdiocese of Tuam with the intention of expanding Muintir na Tíre into the west of Ireland. Father Hayes explains the mission, proposed structure, and history of Muintir na Tíre, talks about the accomplishments of the Tipperary Guild, and notes the new guilds forming elsewhere across Ireland and support received from the clergy. He credits branches of the Catholic Young Men's Society as being 'the power behind our guilds'.

Text written by Father Hayes for an address to the parish guild of Muintir na Tíre at Athboy, County Meath. Father Hayes thanks John D'Alton, the new Bishop of Meath, for his support, and notes that he began his career as a priest in this diocese in 1913.
