Text of the address given by Father Hayes at the first Muintir na Tíre Rural Week, Ardmore, County Waterford, August 1937. He talks about the necessity of keep people in rural areas, the proposed organisational structure of Muintir na Tíre, and his hope 'at the end of this week to have apostles of the cause going into every County and forming Guilds.' Father Hayes also congratulates Patrick Lyons, President of Muintir na Tíre, on his appointment as Bishop of Kilmore. Includes annotations and corrections.
