Two copies of letter from Liam Ó Buachalla to the Chair of the Taibhdhearc, dealing with a number of complaints which have been made against him. He complains that a small number of the Committee are making decisions on behalf of the entire Committee at special meetings. In relation to the dispute within the Taibhdhearc, he states that he had always made it known that he was opposed to tying the Taibhdhearc too closely to the Dublin Gate Theatre. He states that the Committee should examine the deal they do with Micheál Mac Liammhóir when he visits. He states that Mac Laimmhóir will leave if the money runs out, and that the Committee should not forget young people and the Gaeltacht. He states that the Ceile is a good way to acquaint young people with the work of the Taibhdhearc, and that they have succeeded in making money as the accounts show, but that the Committee is slow to support them. He states that he was one of the founders of the Taibhdhearc. He states that it has been said that he is the main reason why disunity has grown up, and complains that this is not so. He states that he is not willing to put up with this trouble, and is resigning. He ends by stating that a copy of the letter has been sent to the Minister for Finance [in Irish].

He states that the matter of putting government representatives on the Committee will be discussed at their next meeting, but that this may be some time away as they are going on holidays [in Irish].
