Letters from the Cultural Relations Committee of the Dept of External Affairs to Carolyn swift, discussing the selection of a photograph, put forward by Swift for inclusion in a new book being compiled called "Theatre in Ireland". The image Swift selected is Donal Donnelly and Nigel FitzGerald as Lucky and Pozzo in Beckett's "Waiting for Godot" at the Pike Theatre. 5 items. 1963.

TS template letter from Music for Galway outlining their plans to purchase a new grand piano for Galway and notice of a public meeting RE same (May 1981) TS correspondence between various people of the Music for Galway Committee including Dr. Jane O'Leary, Angela O'Keefe and Mr. A.M. Broderick with Steinway and Sons, Piano Makers , Hanover Sq, London and also with McCullough Pigott, Musical Instrument Specialists, Suffolk St. Dublin 2 regarding discussions on purchase of a new grand piano for Music for Galway. Documents include price list of range of pianos from Steinway and Son; TS notes regarding choice of "a Steinway Model B" piano from McCullough and Pigott and order process by Music for Galway; further discussion with McCullough and Pigott regarding report on the Jesuit Hall in Salthill; tuning of the new piano on arrival and ongoing maintenance of the piano; letter from McCullough Pigott raising concerns about the temperature and humidity level of the proposed venue of the piano. Also includes letter from Jane O'Leary to Stephen Bishop Kovacevich thanking him for his help in selecting the new Steinway piano and offering him a public recital on the new piano.
