It proposes two piers for Kilronan, adding an East Pier to the existing one, and outlines growth in fishing and tourism and a resulting congestion issue as necessitating it. Includes maps. A subsequent letter from Jerry O'Sullivan, Project Archaeologist with Galway County Council to Tim Robinson encloses a preliminary archaeological assessment of the area of proposed works at the harbour and welcomes comment. (7 Mar 2003).
