Originally due to lecture full course as part of the programme, Mary Robinson (MR) became an official nominee in the Presidential elections in Ireland, passed over lecturing duties to Nuala Butler, and proposed giving opening lecture, as per letter to Prof Jack Garvey, School of Law, USF, 10/05/1990. Material includes correspondence from Dolores A Donovan re class schedule, and congratulations on MR's nomination, 16/05/1990; letter and CV [closed] from Nuala Butler, 17/05/1990 which was faxed to Garvey on 22nd May; course description.
