File of correspondence from the Secretary of the Local Government Board, to John Wilson Lynch, in relation to his charges of neglect against Mr Hazell. It includes extracts from the minutes of the Gort Board of Guardian meetings and Mr Hazell's responses to the charges. In one extract the Board state that they are satisfied with Mr Hazell, who promised to visit the farm with a view to making a seizure (9 Feb 1890). The last letter informs John Wilson Lynch that their inspector, Mr Bourke, would be holding an inquiry into the allegations.
