The subsequent letter asks O'Shaughnessy to put in a call to fill 8" pipe with water so that they can begin work.

Five handwritten letters to M M O'Shaughnessy from Sam Sussman. The letters mainly discuss the Potrero Avenue Extension, and other issues including tax, and an application of O'Shaughnessy's under consideration by Professor Davidson. A letter from 28 Nov 1892 notes "the old man... favors very much the extension". The letter is marked confidential, and it is not evident who the man referred to is.
