He offers his services as a producer for An Taibhdhearc, or even for one or two plays for them (22 June 1956). In reply to a letter from Coiril he gives an account of his work so far, and in reply Coiril states that the Directors were willing to hire him as producer for three months (9 Aug 1956) [in Irish].

Letter from Traolach Ó hAonghusa, 8 Ard na Mara, Bóthar na Trá, Gaillimh to Coiril Ó Mathúna, c/o The Ivy Hotel, Eyre Street, Galway City, relating to a special meeting of the Directors held the previous Saturday that didn't include the Manager and the Producer. He asks a number of questions, and seeks to justify himself. He wants to know Coiril's own opinion in relation to what is going on between himself and the directors. He comments on other members of the company and asks where is the policy for the current year. He ends by commenting that the board have acknowledged that the Producer is the person responsible for bringing improvements for An Taibhdhearc, but that they need to allow him to be able to do his job [in Irish].
