Correspondence between Tim Robinson and Seán Ó Nualláin of the Archaeological branch of the Ordnance Survey. Begins with a handwritten draft of a letter Robinson sent to The Director of the OS about incorrect co-ordinates for Ballycasheen, Leana and Commons North recorded in 'The Survey of Megalithic Tombs Vol 1'. A reply from Ó Nualláin, and subsequent correspondence between the two parties about sites being destroyed by bulldozing of scrub. (27 May 1976-12 Jun 1977) 9pp;

File of correspondence between Tim Robinson and Fr Ryan, Parish Priest at Sixmilebridge. Robinson is enquiring about about a number of earthworks around Lisdoonvarna that he believes to be barrows rather than forts, a subject Fr Ryan recently gave a paper on. Fr Ryan responds arranging to meet Robinson on the Aran Islands. In a subsequent letter, Fr Ryan describes the location of a cave that served as a hiding place for priests and their vestments, and encloses a map of the Burren on which he has marked locations of fulachta fiadh. Copy letter from Robinson to Harbison on the subject of forts he believes are barrows, enclosing a list of sites.
