In the first, having heard that the Mill Valley cricket club has disbanded, asks O'Shaughnessy if he might consider selling their cricket outfit at a reduced rate. Subsequent letters relate to a cost estimate from O'Shaughnessy, notes the good mood of the team in Mountain Mines, and mentions the Queen's jubilee. The final letter mentions Mr Wright being particular about his staff.

The author is named as 'Andrew Lysaght'. and deals with a conspiracy in the south of Europe. Also includes letters between Rynne (Lysaght) and those involved with arrangements of the radio broadcast of the play.
