Casey was commissioned to inspect a property where O'Donoghue proposed to build a house and associated septic services. Casey found historic stone walls that would need to be preserved, and discovered a number of archaeological sites adjacent to the property. The top quarter of the document has been water damaged which has caused some ink to leach.

The report documents the preliminary results of an archaeological excavation in Ballymacahill, Ennis, at a site that was to be disturbed by the construction of the N18 (now M18) bypass around Ennis. Deposits found at the site were shown to be natural in origin.
