Seán hÓráin worked as a solicitor in Galway, and was active in An Taibhdhearc as an actor from his student days in UCG. He became producer from 1951 until his resignation in 1955 due to work pressures. He provided a measure of stability at a time when the theatre was in transition and lost some key personnel, as well as the perennial problem of finance.
